Why Should I Go To Church?   -   Live The Six (Everyday Evangelism)

Nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana less than 20 minutes west of Louisville, Kentucky, you will find St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Daycare & School.
In 1846, a small group of faithful believers began to worship together in this valley. By 1861, when our great nation was in the early days of the Civil War, these devoted followers of Christ began their own school to educate their children and nurture them in their faith. Over a hundred years later, a daycare ministry was added to further increase the education and nurture of our youth in the same doctrine of those that began here many years ago.
Our congregation has grown greatly since worship began here. The original log church building has been lovingly preserved on property across the road from the current church campus as a reminder to all that come here of the sacrifices the founders made to preserve their faith in their new country.  We openly welcome you to join us in the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at any and all services, and we openly welcome you to come to any and all of our fellowship, ministry or bible study events.  You can find all our events and activities on our calendar by clicking HERE.  We look forward to getting to know you, and hope to see you soon!
